Epper dancing in the storm made my heart leap. I have a wicked crush on her. Reminds me of a character from a certain anime whose character potential in that story was squandered

Epper is an awesome zero to badass character. Also I love Tam as he's a great friend to Epper, and a rad bong-huffing know-it-all nerd. Voca? Love seeing her character grow, and taking her dad's power so she can get stronger to kick sprouts in their teeth; rip 'n tear Voca: RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IT IS DONE. Anyhoo... I just hope the three of these goofballs stay friends and kickass together, but this story has the "grim-dark" element and being a longtime fan of 40k as an example, I know nothing is sacred with that trope. Keep writing these bangers, Grumpy. And don't forget to feed Voca a jawbreaker candy or three. She tends to go into withdrawal from no sugar, I hear.
