You're suffering from it too then? The kind of tired sleep won't fix?

Constantly for as long as I can remember

Genuinely feel you man, hope you find something you can enjoy and stop paying attention to shitty stuff happening around, thinking about this shit puts you in a loop of awful feelings, even tho its true
Happy new year!

Good luck to the decisions you make and what may benefit you. I respect the mentality

I also started 2023 on the wrong foot
Yes, the only way to solve your problems is to work hard and kill the shit yourself.

Satan...
I honestly can't think of how deeply you do it bro but
It is true that the world for artists on the internet is shit but let's all do what we can to survive
Believe it or not, understand it or not, there are artists who express themselves through drawing is the way they feel alive
It may be that everything they draw is the same old shit, which I've seen a lot but really it's something that matters to them, it makes them special, with what intentions?
I don't know, good or bad are your decisions
You express yourself very well through drawing and I hope that one day you will understand what you are looking for but your brain and heart block

On the one side, yeah. Things tend to suck. Social media is built on monetizing attention.
On the other side, no human is perfect. If you can't ever accept someone's flaws that's probably bad for you in the long run.
Finding people to vibe with is hard, but its necessary. Loneliness kills.

Only thing that helps me is to remember the things that nobody can take away. For me it's nature, the ability to go outside and watch the butterflies dance. I realize some people live in more dense cityscapes though so that might not work for everyone. Just think of the things no one can take from you and let that be your anchor.

Interesting.

I know you probably won't see this, but I have to ask: What exactly are you looking for in people?

You could say something nebulous like "Good" but I gotta be real with ya... I looked for that, found it, and was deeply disappointed by what I realized. In short, "Good" is not worth looking for.

That's not to say there aren't things worth looking for, though. Hence why I asked what exactly you're looking for.

I guess what I'm looking for is people with actual personalities that weren't just fed to them by their circle.
The amount of times I've seen people both online and IRL just throw their X values/opinions (if they even had any) out the window as soon as they realise they can get more respect/clout/likes by going with Y, whether it be in politics or trivial bullshit like why this Pokemon is an ugly piece of shit. The example I always come back to is when "art twitter" told CSP they didn't want an AI filter and then turned around and uploaded their art to other AI filtering sites within 48 FUCKING HOURS of each other.

I swear when I try to talk to them it's like they're getting paid to read off the same script as a millions of others. I can see right through them.
